Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Cloud Support Associate to join their team. This role primarily involves providing customer support in the cloud, solving various technical issues through different contact channels like telephone, email, and live chat. The candidate will apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to deliver tailored solutions and work closely with customers to understand the root causes of their issues. The position also includes mentoring new hires, collaborating with development teams, and driving process improvements to enhance customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Resolve customer cases via various communication channels.
Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques for unique customer solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to reproduce and solve complex customer issues.
Participate in training and mentorship programs.
Write technical documentation and tutorials for the developer community.
Drive projects that improve support processes and enhance customer experiences.
0-1 year of experience in:
Linux systems administration
Database design and optimization
Big Data analysis
Network administration
DevOps
Programming/scripting experience (Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, PHP).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with OS concepts and Linux/Unix systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat).
Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS) and databases.
Strong customer focus and multitasking skills.
Exposure to cloud computing technologies.
A self-starter with a passion for technology.
